When I lived in a flat I was always aware that I was separated from another person by just one brick. My bed was in the corner of my room and when I lay with my head near the wall I sometimes imagined the neighbour (whoever they were) potentially lying so close to me. It was eerie and comforting all at the same time. Anne Laure Maison's beautiful work reminds me of this.

Fallen Princesses
I came across the work of Canadian photographer Dina Goldstein entitled "Fallen Princesses" and absolutely loved them.
Smoking Kids!
Titled "The beauty of an ugly addiction" photographer Frieke Janssens confronts viewers with questions about the general smoking ban introduced in Belgium.
Keeping it Tidy (Tuesdays)
We're trying out working with themes on our blog, just to give some order to our constant need to post beautiful things. Tuesdays will feature 'Keeping it Tidy', which may be about storage, neat decor, our own manic tidying episodes, or something randomly related. In today's case, I guess randomly related is a good description, though you do have to admit, these are very tidy. Take some time out to browse and enjoy Things Organised Neatly.
Bonnie & Clyde
Look who I found looking so fabulously retro on the Bonnie & Clyde blog. This photo shoot was part of a fun morning with Darren from This Other Eden, where people were invited to come and try on the beautiful up-cycled creations at Bonnie and Clyde and have their picture taken. Doesn't the Sam Cherry look gorgeous?
Just Another Manic Monday (Wish It Was Still Sunday)
Here are some snaps from our chilled Sunday beach visit.

Birthday Boy!
Happy Birthday to my big boy. This is "The Leith Monster" and the cupcakes he took to school (with a cheesy Photoshop filter to cover the fact that they are slightly burnt). The beautiful pic of Leith was taken by my ever so talented husband Darren Murray.
Storybook Childhood
My fabulous husband Darren, of This Other Eden, is a wonder with his photography. He specialises in child and family photography and somehow manages to do two unique things with his work. Firstly, he captures children in a way that allows a brief window into what they might be like as adults, and secondly he photographs their parents as beautiful archetypes - he takes the photograph that you remember your parents by. I know what you are thinking - she is a little biased, and that may be the case, but check it out and see for yourself.
Unlike most family photographers, who do studio portraits, Darren comes to your home or favourite place (nature reserve, beach or park) and will spend a few hours with your family in an environment in which they are relaxed.
