TEA AND BISCUITS

Well Autumn is the time for baking... and I have pulled out the old biscuit molds that I swore I would never do again (thankfully I destroyed the difficult ones ... I was wise) and made a brand new, freshly baked batch. Without the Zoos and the Strawberry Whirls, I found I quite enjoyed making them again. So I have decided to drop the price from R50 to R40 per biscuit. They come in fridge magnet and brooch form and will be on sale at the I HEART MARKET on Saturday. If you cant make the market but would like some tea and biscuits just email me on bronwen@vaughan-evans.co.za and I will pop them in the post for you.
The biscuits are made from Jesmonite which is a composite material that is hard wearing and about as strong as ceramic. These lovelies will survive one accidental wash.

Not only have I been baking but slowly but surely have been trawling the thrift shops again and so will be offering some vintage toys along with our usual book packs. I found 3 dear little vintage dolls (circa 1975) which will be sold for R40 each and a quirky "Car-Capers" game which has truly fab pieces. This will also be on sale for R40.

You may have noticed all the 40's.... well this month I turn 40 so have decided to embrace the number. For this I HEART MARKET only "HEY CHERRY" will also be selling our book packs for a mere R40 (down from their usual R60).
