Lonely lovely

I found this beautiful vintage tin toy telephone the other day. I don't think it was ever played with as it is in absolutely mint condition. I think it was meant as a gift to a friend / lover due to the inscription on the box "phone me when you are lonely". How lovely is that? I so love things with a history, especially one that lets the imagination wander.
